Dragon's Breath

I just ordered some Dragon's Breath rounds for the 12 gauge. I have acquired quite a large burn pile out back. Soon, when the weather conditions are right...I'm going to put a little "accelerant" on it and torch that fucker. I can't find a cameraman for some reason? I'm gonna have me some fun!

They work great on squirrels.

Be careful, my experience says you get 100+ yards or flame, not the 75 yards listed on the package.
extra 25 yards= a 2 county brush fire.

Here, hold my beer......

:eek::biggrin:

So out of curiousity, I went on Youtube to see the dragons breath.

He tests the dragons breath towards the end of the video. Pay attention to what is burning right at the end of the video....LMFAO

I got a long water hose & plenty of fire extinguishers. Would only do it with the right weather conditions and IAW burn laws.

Anyone try them out of a shockwave or SBS?

First time I looked at a projectile review on youtube where I started laughing.
I'm thinking cops in St Louis and Chicago should be carrying these dragon breath rounds. Strong deterrent effect.

It didn't appear that he had ANY means of putting out that haybale fire and when you set hay on fire.....stand by :biggrin:. I'm betting what happened right after that video ended was hilarious.

Are these from the same maker that advertised in SOF Mag in the 90's along with buck & chain and shit like that

Sounded cool to a little kid..who was probably the youngest & most likely the only subcriber through a local book shop..

They have all kinds of cool shit for shotguns now.
Dragons Breath, regular signal flares, flechette rounds, drone killers, tracer slugs.

And I'm a shotgun type guy.

What's the fun in that?!

The "enemy" brushpile in question has grown quite large over the winter. It'll make a fine backstop. It's only about 20 ft from the perimeter woodline though.

Risk Management always. The intial bang from the magnesium round impacting in a brushpile with just a tad of accelerant should be fun!

Some history here, I laughed at the non-lethal part.

I ordered these from American Specialty Ammo.

I fired several of those fuckers off last night. Brushpile gone. I shot a 12 gauge modified choke at 90ft. Still plenty of range left. Magnesium bounced 30 ft in the air at that range.

How did the rounds (in bold) fair? IIRC, the flechettes were used effectively in Vietnam to flush out bad guys in the bush.

I've only tried the dragons breath so far.

Nice to know there are fellow "Fire Enthusiast" here. Did you try them on squirrels?
