Navy SEAL Becomes Astronaut

This young Warrior graduated high school in 2002 and has already achieved more accomplishments than most people could in three lifetimes. SEAL, Doctorate in Medicine from Harvard Medical School, and now an Astronaut Candidate.

....and a Tillman Scholar. Very impressive.

MountainBum 8 June 2017 23:50

Congrats Frogman. Crazy to think this astronaut class could be first boots on the ground on Mars.

Slacker.

bobmueller 9 June 2017 12:25

Outstanding. Congratulations, sir. Sounds well-earned.

HighDragLowSpeed 9 June 2017 12:27

Not the first SEAL in space either.

The American Dream still lives.

Some people were just born in Beast Mode and never slowed down.

Baildog 9 June 2017 15:21

Incredible, awe-inspiring accomplishments.

Just to preemptively steal leopardprey and TFG's trash-talking thunder: "When he writes his book will it be about being a SEAL or being an astronaut?"

Fubar 9 June 2017 15:50

^^^ That was funny!

Dark Helmet 9 June 2017 16:59

If he is a gyno, he has hit the trifecta.

Hahaha!!

He just finished his intern year in the ER residency in Harvard.

Our residency had a rivalry with Harvard for years. They have an outstanding program director and put out some top notch Emergency Physicians.

I know some of the faculty there. Maybe I should tell them to give him some love.

I love seeing success.

BTW, in the New England area, I know of several vets turned Emergency docs. There's a PJ, a DEVGRP, and several Marines.

Finally, someone to make 8654maine feel like an underachiever.

He will be the 3rd SEAL in space, after Chris Cassidy and Bill Shepherd.
