Tribute Video to all Living MOH recipients

Found this little gem this morning. Nice to watch something inspiring amidst all of this insanity. God Bless them all.

Nice.

Very cool. Actually met two of those studs.

Walter Marm was my BN CDR in basic training at Benning in 1985.

I am Woody Williams' personal driver when he visits Cleveland. He always asks for "that Ranger with the big black truck". He travels everywhere with police escort and is a really, really, cool guy. Loves women. Loves them. Humble, too.

At 4:40 you see Michael Thornton and Tom Norris. They share a pretty incredible story wherein Thornton is the only MoH recipient to save the life of another MoH recipient, Norris. Norris was awarded the MoH for his rescue of LtCol Hambleton (Bat-21) six months earlier.

A humbling thing to watch. God bless you all.

Sammy Davis, one of the Vietnam recipients, is the actual MOH recipient who's ceremony they used in the movie Forest Gump. They slapped a cgi version of Tom Hanks face onto the real footage.

Somewhere I have a picture of me holding Mr Davis's Medal of Honor. He would pass it around for the crowd when he would speak.
