Trying to post pics for the first time...
Why the fuck is this so frustrating!?!

Silverbullet 25 August 2015 22:12

Use the paper clip icon and once you select which pic, choose upload. Then return to the post screen and hit the clip again. It will show you pic link. Select it and if will show in the post.

Can we delete our own pics that we post at any time or is there a time limit for editing?

Editing time for any post, pix or not is very limited. Kinda like firing a shot. You gotta make it count.

I was frustrated recently by attempting to post a picture (in
this case a .JPG file) only to get repeated "Server Error 500"
from SOCNET. The size of the file was well under the
advertised "Max File Size" of 9.22 mb (megabytes).

What I had not noticed is that SOCNET also imposes a limit
on the maximum width and height of the image, measured in
pixels (picture elements, aka "the dots that make up the image").

SOCNET will not accept an image more than 640 pixels wide and 480 pixels tall.

So if your pictures won't post, check and see how many pixels wide and tall it is.

Right click on the picture, then click on "properties," you may
have to then click on "details."

If the picture is too wide or too tall, you will have to use photo editing software
to "resample" or "resize" your image to get it down under 640 wide and 480 tall.
