I watched all of season 3 over 2 days, it was a short season but really good, not as good as season 2 or 3 but both of those seasons set the bar really high. My biggest complaint was use of modern music, in the first 2 seasons it was done moderately and helped punctuate certain parts of the show, this season it was almost like a gimmick and, at least to me, bordered on annoying..With out revealing too much, I liked the portrayal of the aristocrats and their lifestyle, it helped paint a realistic picture in my brain that no amount of reading, interviews or documentaries could......I wish there was someone who could do like that guy in the Vikings thread and explain a little of the detail and historical context for each episode, I wonder how close the show follows real events and such.
