Charles "Peanut" Tillman training to become FBI Special Agent

Apparently he's been at Quantico for awhile and is a couple of months to go before he graduates. Good luck to him, He seems like a pretty capable guy. His father served in the Army and Peanut himself spent many of his formative years living in Germany when his dad was stationed there.

Finally get to see what he looks like without the corn row braids.

Talk about a LE you don't want to have chasing you. Not only will he catch you very quickly he is gonna lay the lumber to you when he takes you down.

Good on him for stepping up and trying to make a difference in the world.

Sadly, this never gets included in the "Conversation" Young Black men need to see that they can do whatever they set their minds to do. Bonne Chance Peanut.

Yes it is lost in the till of 'racism',etc.

This is truly awesome--a second career and public service at that.

Congrats to him

Why is this -"multiple individuals told the Tribune, including a high-ranking law enforcement source who is not authorized to speak publicly on the matter." A THING AT THE FBI? Can no one shut the fuck up?

36 meets the age cut off, just cannot have reached 37 years old. Many departments have extended this age to 40 for veterans recently.

Best to Tillman in his future career, an example to follow.

That's just under the wire (can't be 37). I've seen guys who were close, who were past all of the important hiring prerequisites, get sworn in early to make the cut. And, as noted, it can be waived, as it really just goes to being able to get your 20 years in for full retirement before the 57 mandatory retirement age, which is waived all of the time). I've seen 1811s waived to 62 before.

And, all of those prerequisites, SSBI, medical, physical fitness test, poly, psych test, interview, can be expedited if you are somebody the high command at SOG (seat of government, not special ops) really wants to hire.
