If so, thank you. If not intentionally, forget I said anything.

I just realized I was still accessing the "old" http site. Changed to https and lost the favicon. It still shows on http after cache dump.

Also, is there an RSS feed available for new posts?

The ht access file needs to be updated. then all socnet.com entries will resolve to the new address.

Ok - so the https version of the site is working.

However, it appears the "force ssl" at the site level hasn't been applied. I.e. - I go to https://www.socnet.com - all good. I click on a thread - the https stays. If I click on some other link (the Socnet logo image for example, to go back to the default site), it takes me back to the non-ssl version of the site. Not sure if you wanted to "force ssl" yet, so maybe this is OK as is.

We did not set up HTTPS. Not sure where anyone has that idea from. I was clear that function is in the future.

Color change is too subtle for me, my eyes are like my ears; they do their best and don’t always track.

Two iDevices and one lap present the same format.

One of the things I really like about the update is when you click "new posts", new posts populate but the "not new, but unread" posts populate, as well. Thanks for all of your hard work, admins and other key players!

Seems to be down to 15 seconds now.

I'm reading tutorial on SSL and how to set it up with vBulletin so we can work on that next week.
Got it, so SSL-enabled site is still in the works. For the record, it properly shows SSL certificate from Comodo with validity from 07-08-2018 to 06-11-2018. Four cookies are downloaded: bbforum_view, bblastactivity, bblastvisit, bbsessionhash. And apart from clicking on SOCNET logo, I can browse down the forum structure while in SSL connection.

The search gap is for a purpose.

We are not on SSL yet.

Move on to other points please.

The wait has been 15 seconds for as long as I can remember, at least for me.

Liking the new layout. Nice work.

I don't like this new "feature" at all. There's a reason some posts don't get read..... I don't need to be reminded I haven't read them every time I visit and click on "New Posts." Example: I'm watching Fauda, but I don't need to read spoilers, so I avoid the thread. I sure as hell don't give a shit about California Straw Memes.... etc. I now have two pages of shit I've chosen not to read. I can continue to ignore, but I'll eventually end up with 20 pages of shit returned in my New Posts search.

I navigate the site like you.

Last night I went to Quick Links, Mark all read. Two pages of light gray, already viewed threads.

This morning, only truly new posts showed, not those Id marked as read.

I actually like both options in the new format.
