Good Luck Texas Sheriff's Deputies

Many Texas Sheriff's races were decided by the primary last night, and my Sheriff's opponent won by a handful of votes.

Good luck to the rest of you hoping to survive the upcoming changes of administration.

Big shift in political ideology or are you referring to the normal purging that occurs with Southern Sheriffs offices post election?

Wilson County's 20+ year Republican Sheriff got caught in a scandal the week before and will be unemployed 1 January.

Bexar County is screwed for 4 more years. Sheriff Racist/Incompetent, or his Republican (no LE experience) challenger.

It's never a good thing when you are in a lose/lose scenario with your county Sheriff.
