Hello,

Former 1/75 guy. Did some time in contracting as well. Worked in accounting/ finance for 4 years at a large public accounting firm. Thinking about ditching the office/ desk life and getting back into contracting though... If you've thought about taking a desk job in an office, it really is as bad as you think it might be!

I'm returning after several years.
I'll do my best to keep quiet.
T'was the 173d Airborne, but fifty years ago.
I have little to add; much to learn.
G'day.

I'm a no one. Broke my ankle twice in 91 at mcrd. They sent me back to Indiana. I've enjoyed a fruitful life of motorcycle and yacht mechanics. Throughout my years I have come to know and respect gentlemen like yourselves. That is how I became aware of your site many years ago. I'm in Charleston, SC. I'm not here to comment. Only to hear your perspectives. Many of your members are quite good at nailing my thoughts down. I enjoy the perspectives without stupidity that we see in mainstream debate. Thank you for letting me be a lurker! I've been reading for probably 5 years. If you are rugby or motocross in the Charleston area.....

Horse Hockey!

One of the very best things about this place, as you know, is opposing points of view.

Read the stickies.

Welcome.
