Hey all,

I'm an E6 in a CA BDE serving a second tour in OIF. I've been CA for four years of my six year career. Started as trans, but couldn't stand it, so I switched.

I'm interested in active duty CA, so I'm here searching for information.
Thanks for having me.

Great Site.

Hi...I'm currently a CBP Enforcement Officer with about 13 or so years in. I'm currently planning on taking a year or two off to do a Dyncorp Border Police Advisor mission or two.

I'm just waiting for my background to clear and then it looks like I'll be off to PAST on 06/05 or 06/27. I stumbled upon this site while researching everything I can about the mission. So far it has been a pretty good source of information and a fun read.

On a side note, I'm just finishing up my EMT-B and should be nationally registered and state license prior to deployment. I saw a thread where a company appears to be paying pretty good money for EMT-B's in Kuwait. So be prepared, you may get a few more Montana folks off of our volunteer ambulance crew showing up to see what it is all about.

I probably won't be writing too much until I get deployed...so thanks for the information and great site!!!!

Morning All,

I'm Steve. I was in the USN from 05-09. I was an SK, but didn't do much of that. Went to NC boarding school, all of the instructors where former team guys and they were a lot of fun to have as instuctors. (When they weren't beating us....)

I am now a college student, and when I'm finished with college I have ambitions to try out for the SF in the national guard. (Ill be 28).

I am a big fan of the community and want to keep up on whats going on.

Thanks for allowing me to join.

I'm an Infantry LT in the VT ARNG.
I'm getting ready to deploy to Afghanistan and I figured this might be a place to come to for advice/guidance.
Thanks in advance.

Retired 18D

Hi, everyone
I retired in 03 after 23 years active. Most of my AD time was with SF and most of that was with 1st Group. I had some time in 5th SF (less than a year) in the early '80s
I am currently a DA civilian living and working in the Heidelberg, Germany area.

That is pretty impressive. Did you study all of them at DLI, or was there another school involved?
