Finally getting the kitchen tile and the bedroom carpet cleaned. I was waiting all summer to do it so I could leave the dogs out while I drug the machines into the house from the garage and cleaned the crap out of the place.

And there is nothing like an after work G&T!!

Getting to see a game at the Little League World Series with my father. This event is as great live as you would think when you see it on TV, and they go out of their way (free admission, free parking, low cost concessions) to make it a great experience for the family. Highly recommend the trip if you're a baseball fan, or watch the event on TV every year.

Getting 100% on your first paper when you go back to college at 43.
So far the hardest part of school is not throat punching people that end every word as if it is a question. Fuck me dead.

That inflection (?) is a common problem anymore. Drives me freaking nuts! Evidently, to them it is akin to an exclamation mark! We would have been flamed for that in grade school!

This is by far more than a small pleasure, but Aleksander is able to hold his neck up while laying prone for more than 30 seconds. He still needs help getting to the position, but still can perform. We are starting to see hope for his future and are believing the gene therapy is working.

That is miraculous news, 11B, and I pray his healing continues. I know this has to be a tremendous undertaking for you and your wife. I can't imagine the strain it can put on your family. I have never endured such hardship. Hope you can get some security from the impending storm , also.
