Hi everyone, I am a young college student in ROTC with a lot a heart but not a lot of experience or knowledge (that didn't come from the internet or an outdated textbook). Aiming for infantry branch.

I am looking forward to reading and learning from the collection of knowledge posted within this forum. Thank you everyone here for your service.

I always thought ham radio sounded kind of cool. Is it tough to get started?

Introduction

Hello,
I am a civilian, but I'm the adult daughter of a retired SEAL. I am incredibly grateful for his service and that of all the other brave individuals in Special Forces. I'm here to learn and appreciate.

My name is Stephen Weston.

I came here to make a post about my father, Sgt Robert L Weston, US Army Special Forces (Ret)

I fully support any and all who have served in the military, even though because of my stupidity as a teen, I was not able to join.

The post will be in the Special Forces thread.

Hello all,
I was an active duty Navy corpsman from 88-94. Did a MARG in early 91 and never heard a shot fired in anger. Joined the reserves for a while but it was just not the same. I went to nursing school after AD and went to work in the ER and now going back after a long absence. I will read much more than I post.

Thank you for having me.

Hello all,

I am a former U.S. Army 11B and 18D. I spent the majority of my time in the Army in 3rd group, ODA 3126. Also, I've spent a little time in the contracting world doing WPS. I currently am the Director of Operations, CONUS for a company called Velox. Velox is based out of the DMV (as am I), but has offices globally.

I did my undergrad through GWU, the Clinical Health Science Program they offer 18D's, and did my masters in National Security Affairs from Nova Southeastern University.

Thanks.

Hail

Greeting all,

I'm an old 11B. My first helmet in the army was a steel pot.

I'm also a former cop and current contractor.

Also, this isn't the spot that ANYONE looks at to find people- try the Job Opportunities Forum.

Welcome! Drop your ruck and take a knee.

When you get a chance go to the Ranger and SF Forums, contact a moderator and get vetted; their names are at the bottom of the forum.
