Rana Foroohar, On Point/WBUR interview

Good (IMO) interview with Rana Foroohar this week by Meghna Chakrabarti about supra-national tech companies and their evolution.
FT columnist and editor discusses her new book, which sounds as though it covers the 20 year transition of major players in the tech industry, arguably either by intent or organic maturation or both, into the current level of involvement in politics; disproportionate market involvement relative to actual value; and ever-increasing surveillance capitalization.

Interesting listening to this short piece as they essentially rip MZuck, et al, for their self-identified 'libertarianism' to an astounding level of hubris and cognitive dissonance, and discuss some of the pushback about NDAs regarding data collection (vs public domain access). Folks into tech, IS and data mining, privacy and security, and even general business might find it applicable
