I will own a Strider one day. Either when I finally save up the money or steal Andy's while he's drunk.

Looks like LT Paul is pushing that body armour out a little too far from his mid section.

I'll bet I can guess his classified location....The closest Kryspy Kreame in Baton Rouge.

woahh

no im not the maker of these knives. i first read about them here http://www.military.com/soldiertech/...Shiva,,00.html
and here
http://www.defensereview.com/modules...rticle&sid=519
i wasnt selling anything, just putting a link to something that i found interesting.

yes they are expensive, too much so for practical use, but they are customs.
and yes, the website is really awful, i might offer to do a better one.

same when you want to buy a Katana, its gona cost you near 1k +. the $100 Katanas tend to be worthless.
Im not schooled in knife figthing, but im getting into it now. I have done a little Iado, but thats different.

im doing my profile now by the way, i just joined yesterday.

Bad Dude, Hmm?

All those qual badges, and fruit salad, bust just an E-5. Must have been an early-out candidate.

Gotta love the airborne wings OVER the CIB, combined with the HALO wings and 3 hangers on the qual badge.. Probably electric fence pissing, masturbation and anal probage.

What a fucking chump.

I'd rather buy a knife made by some hadji out of a leaf spring than anything from that 'tard. At least I know the origin of the knife and that it's really a hadji that made it then.

It appears that the good LT is a real person. Maybe someone with AKO should look him up in the White Pages and invite him over? I'm sure many of us would love to hear about his exploits with the Night Stalkers.

The SOCNET knife thread....

ok, for almost 10 years I have had a Benchmade CQC7 knockoff auto-opener. Have loved it. But having decided it was time for a new ginsu, and having given my benchmade to a young relative joining the service, I now am having trouble finding a knife I like.

Looking for another folder. doesnt have to be an auto-opener, but looking for something with a little bit meatier of a handle than the benchmade and good solid blade that will take a beating if I happen to be hunting/camping and use a rock or maglite on the back of the blade to chop through something.

That benchmade lasted me a good long time.

Anyone have a good solid folder they would brag on?

Not to sound like a smartass, but...

How about a Benchmade CQC7? Mine's lasted me the last 12 years and it's still going strong. It sounds like you had the same experience with your "knockoff". I understand Emerson makes the CQC7 now, but I'm willing to bet his are just as good as the ones Benchmade made for him years ago.

Mine was a Benchmade CQC7 model. Essentially they called it a BM970 or something. I am just looking for something with a little meater handle, doesnt have to be as high speed etc.

Figured for something new, after looking around I thought I might have go back to the CQC7 if I dont find anything else I really like. Almost hated to give it away but told the nephew that when he signed up I would give it to him, for good luck if nothing else.

i've had an automatic Benchmade 9050SBK serrated for the past 4 years. the best thing about it is the grip on the handle. if you want meatier handle and grip, this knife is the one.

http://www.benchmade.com/loading.aspx?model=9050

another one that has a meaty grip that i can think of is the Gerber Gator grip, and it's only a fraction of the price of a BM. it won't disappoint you.

http://www.rockynational.com/1106_06...ated_Edge.html

goodluck with the search.
Cheers.
