Kyle Carpenter impresses me every time I hear him speak. A truly humble, quiet professional an warrior.

Next time you're looking for a way to kill a couple hours, I highly recommend:

https://www.youtube.com/user/MedalOf...s?spfreload=10

Best short video series I've seen in a LONG time. My favorite part of the Band of Brothers series was the interviews with the guys. There are very similar and there are almost a hundred I believe, from WWII, Korea and Vietnam.

+1..Great videos..intense.

On a lighter note, in the video below..the gentleman is informed of his MOH by a Private named Sergeant Major.

Bump. Again, today is Medal of Honor Day. The Marine Corps put up a short video on it's website. I had the honor and privilege of meeting 1stSgt Jimmie Howard at our Battalion Mess Night prior to deployment in June 1990. His 18 man platoon from C Co. 1st Recon Bn is the most decorated small unit in military history: (1) Medal of Honor (4) Navy Cross' (13) Silver Stars and (18) Purple Hearts. At one point in the battle they were low on ammo, engaging in H2H combat and throwing rocks at the attacking NVA.
