Waking this back up - still having issues.
Oddly, I can edit my posts in this thread only. I just posted in the lounge and I cannot edit.

Requesting help: am I missing permissions or something?

The editing feature goes away about five minutes after you post.... it's a time-limited thing to prevent going back and editing days or years later.

Thanks for responding - however, before I asked here again (to test the time limit theory) I posted in the lounge immediately before I posted here and looked for the edit button.

When I post in this how-to thread i see the edit button. I don't see edit when I post anywhere else. The button simply isn't there. Any chance there is a behind the scenes answer, or is there an account setting I am overlooking?

After you post, refresh your browser and look for two things. The green light telling everyone you're online. And #2 that you show to be logged in such as you could reply to your own post, quote it or some such. F5!

lastly try a different browser.

I'm not seeing it ("Edit") either...I'm showing as logged in, and noticed a
typo as soon as my reply posted--no Edit anywhere. :- \

IIRC, there is a 50 post minimum before editing is allowed Sir.
