Icon5 Propellant Fuel Sticks

Does anyone have some good photos or a link of the propellant fuel sticks - the type we encountered often and disposed of in Iraq on various UXO projects? Thanks.

I'm of no use, as usual, but, we got a kick out of playing with the propellant sticks out of the LAW. You needed to put a bend/kink in one before lighting. They would zip around trying to take your feet off, then when the fire hit the kink, pow!

The idea that there would ever be a general order #1 was laughable, at the time.

I had a ton of pictures from Iraq in 2003. That was 4 computers ago. I looked as I am reasonably sure I posted some on here but all the pictures were lost at some point in my old posts.

Wish I did... and probably do on a computer hard drive somewhere if I can find it. We had a hell of a good time with them. Filled a small brick building with them on an ASP and lit it up. Don’t remember how far away we were...a LONG ways, but can remember how incredibly hot it was. When it burnt out it looked like night be because our eyes had adjusted that much.
