Security Guard Tour Tracking Sysytem

I am sure someone here has some good first hand experience with these systems and what do you recommend? We currrently use a product called PROGUARD by a company called Contronics

http://www.contronics.com/en/product/proguard/.

We've utilized this system for years but the wands are a PITA and shit the bed frequently so I was looking to replace our entire system. I appreciate in advance any advice anyone could pass on.

ETA: I'm looking for a complete tour system that is stand alone and not tied to a yearly recurring subscription to a company.

We use Videx and it's a one and done stand alone system; no recurring costs outside of replacing the button readers when one of our folks breaks or loses them.

It's adequate for our needs and we have been using it for about six years; I cannot ever recall it failing or having any major software issues.

I'm not sure who is doing the tours but the run of the mill security guards can be tough on gear. I think Contronic's is probably okay. A tour report that can be backed by video works best based on my past (25 years ago) corporate security experience.

Detex is pretty big up here in the Northeast.

Have you looked into one of these?
