Man Cave Ready!

Putting the finishing touches on my basement room. In the last 2 weeks, we've put in drop ceiling, carpet, doors, trim, and a out 30% of a Timber Wall. Getting the lighting done and then it's time for furniture. I did score the MINT Klipsch Quartets seen here off of Craigslist on Friday. :)

I am jealous brother! Looks outstanding so far! It can only get better from this point.

I suspect there will be many great memories formed there!

Congrats Joe. You have almost reached Clark Griswold Wally World status! Was just about to ask about the TV. 70"! Nice! What are your plans for a refreshment stand?

Most important, where does the Vikings wall sign and Peterson 28 jersey go?

Now for the gun safe, leather recliner and canvas bed for the Labrador.

Very cool Joe, keep us posted.

Consider going with a projector and screen. I think my 110" screen cost a couple hundred (and I had been looking at a Black Diamond that would have cost $3k), and a decent quality HD projector can be had for less than $1k. Less if you can find it on Craigslist.

I had a pair of Heresys that I got at the PX in Nurnburg in 85. Like an idiot I sold them and bought the Bose 901's. When I saw these on CL last week, I grabbed them quickly. $400 for the pair.
They sound incredible too.

Looking great! I'm also considering doing something similar for my husband, but I need to free up some space first. Wish me luck!

Cool room , dude! I could live there. The ceiling is too low for me though, I could not jump rope and practice my golf swing.

I got an old Chevrolet pickup tailgate lying around somewhere that'd look good on that wall.
