“Why did they.....what the? Well that was kinda dumb.” Inner dialogue throughout the movie, but that’s pretty much any movie I suppose. Someone pointed out their names were ripped off from Dalton Fury’s book Kill Bin Laden.

Maybe older veterans watched ‘Uncommon Valor’ and threw their beers at the screen but I still love it, as dumb as it is in retrospect. Hey if nothing else the soundtrack to Triple Frontier was pretty cool.

Funny, while watching I noticed that as well. I'll have to give P some shit for that as I don't think he can even say "hola."

I enjoyed this movie, but yes like everyone else things should've been done differently. However, if they had been done differently and right, the movie would've been really short and everyone would be complaining how boring it was!

And all the writers and director would have had to do, is hire a couple SOF veterans for a couple of days of consultation.

Two steak dinners, some cold beer, and Rolex watches for Mixedload and myself - and this movie would have been epic.

Have to ask yourself...why do authors/screenwriters/directors/producers not do this regularly??? It is rare they get it right.

Replace "SOF" with "pilot" and this also describes 99% of aviation related movies ever made.

I saw this movie today while browsing Netflix or was it Prime? I forget but plan on watching it.

I probably won’t notice what y’all did. Though even though I’ve never served I kinda recognize ridiculous Hollywood stuff vs real life when I see it. If it’s not too bad I can go with the flow and enjoy a good action flick ... though now I DO wonder why I thought Lethal Weapon was so damn good back in the day.

Watched it the other day and think I got eye strain from rolling my eyes.

Frankly, writers feel regularly threatened by anyone who has done the thing they are writing about. And they don't want to share credit for the creative process.

On top of that, many directors have been burned by advisors who don't care about the entertainment value but want it to be 100% accurate, and don't understand that its always a trade off, and you never stop production.

At the end of the day if its not entertaining, it doesn't matter how accurate it is. Good tech advisors try and find the right balance and pick which battles to fight and which to let go. And work to partner with the writers and wardrobe etc so that they are calling you for advice.
