Negative, sir.

Just the economy part.

Which based on Chesie/DevilDoc's accounts, likely also about to turn into a self-inflected GSW to the femur for the healthcare industry if the restrictions don't get lifted one-way or the other at end of next week.

Colorado is under shelter in place until the 11th but the pot shops and liquor stores are essential. I didn't see gun shops on the essential list, maybe they didn't feel the need to state the obvious.

I think Kat was trying to politely remind you not to just cut and paste without providing an opinion. We all read the news.

South Africans seem to have just woken up to the fact that no booze is on sale for the next three weeks. It's quite a calamity apparently.

Several with prior critical care experience are now assigned to us until normal service is restored. PACU aka the recovery room is prepping to be ICU overflow but only for clean patients. They are staffing the new 6west unit with volunteers picking up extra shifts of on call.

Currently we have 2 confirmed cases on the unit along with 1 that is highly likely to come back positive as well. I think our Covid unit has 6 pending results.

I spoke with someone who just got over this. He is a pretty healthy person, mid 60s. Runner type..
But, Doc said go home, fluids and rest. No meds of any kind.
He took dayquil, nyquil and Zicam..
Anyone heard of any other medicines being given, or OTC that helps?

Just released CDC Study on *U.S.* patients in pic below.

Yup, lets not let the under 45 crowd keep this country humming and develop Herd Immunity for something that their most likely won't ever be a vaccine for. For god's sake, think of the children. I don't recall ever seeing a 0.0% CFR for influenza? And just to preempt - Accurate CFRs benefit from massive samples, so even these numbers would go down further.

Now you get why the Nazi Party was able to do what it did - massive collusion between the .gov, "experts" and the media, mind controlling the populace.

And no, I'm not equating U.S. entities with Nazi's - just the tactics that get a massive amount of people, to agree/do something.

I need to stop reading this thread so I don't have a stroke or something, because so far this 2 trillion dollar bailout averages to 800 million dollars per patient admitted to the hospital.

Nothing to counter here. Numbers look great (so far). That is exactly what we would hope to see given the hardships the nation is enduring.

ETA: Something of note though... the inclusion criteria dates on that chart span only through 3/16... the explosion in US cases began occurring that following week...

Idaho Governor just issued a statewide stay at home order. Gun shops/ranges are considered "essential" for safety and are staying open.
There is a lot to like about this state!
