Hope the link works.

Blast from the past. Some of you FOGs may recognize some of these cats. I knew all but two of them.

That was very nice, thanks. My neighbor growing up, my mentor, was the local high school history teacher and retired SF. He hooked me up with watching then Gabriel team at Bragg; then around 1985 he had some SF guys (Gabe team members?) come my high school and do a bit of a demo.

Best part of the blog:

If there are some former types to do it, this thing is begging for a 2013 mockumentary version, complete with an Diversity Team Leader, an EEOC Sergeant, gender-neutral language interpreters, fat guys, blind and handicapped, women, and lisping snappy dressers, trained in rainforest management, feng shui, couples massage, and fluent in Esperanto and with a working knowledge of Ebonics.

I was in JROTC in high school during 71-74. We took a field trip to Bragg in 73. Saw a Gabriel team demo. Was awesome. Stayed at Moon Hall and ate at what would become my favorite mess hall on Bragg, the PSYOPS mess hall next to Moon. An Awesome trip.

I had forgotten that post. Glad the video's still there.

If anybody on active duty were to parody this today, all mission activities would stop while the witch hunt spun up. I think we have members of this board who have been crucified (not literally, just in career terms) for a similar-concept parody.

I am certain Mat Best would nail this.

COL Coffman's OIF 1 defense of an Iraqi police station was epic. IMO the only reason he wasn't nominated for a MoH was his rank.

Those slant and flat pocket EDRL cammies were sweet. I've still got a sterile lime slant, and a patched tan flat. (the trousers don't fit anymore... small longs

Knew a few of those guys. That video was made during early '84. What memories.
