TO3 - BESF

Anyone have any recent BOG experience on TO3 in Baghdad that can shoot me a PM? Most recent I've found here is from '11. Currently negotiating a position there and wanting to get a feel for the company climate there and/or any relevant info for incoming personnel.

Thanks gents.

Likewise I'd like to get some info on this TO too. I didn't want to open multiple threads about the same subject. Please PM. Thanks.

Wouldn't posting the info here be the purpose of the forum and keep people from repeating the same info over and over again?

My understanding is that it is currently under protest so which company are you referring to? Most of the WPS players have recruiters here on SOCNET.

I believe he's talking about the contract SOC still has, which is still under WPS I for the next 180 days or so. The contract that is being protested is the TO 3 BEC originally with Janus Global, not BESF under SOC.

Not quite.

TO3 BEC and TO4 BDSC are both held by SOC. Janus was awarded the TO4 recompete a few months ago. SOC protested the award. TO4 was then recompeted again for those within competitive range. SOC won the second recompete and now it is under protest again by Janus and TC.

TO3 was awarded to SOC and is under protest by TC.

Interesting, thanks for the info. I'm already with a different company for WPS but Janus contacted me a few days ago telling me about their protests and all that, but not as in detail. Thanks for the info regarding that. And yea I think the contracting world would cause chess grandmasters to have a headache.

If you are on current contract and Janus is recruiting you... that's no bueno. You may want to rethink what you are posting on an open forum.

I'll rephrase myself I applied previouslu to Janus, but was contacted by another company first. Soon after that, Janus was protested with no other information regarding contracts. I never signed anything with another company, but they have kept the emails to previous applicants to keep them up to date on their contracts in the hopes of being able to recruit them in the future. You were right I should have phrased my statement better.

It is pretty comical. I've seen some crazy, crooked, underhanded, hilarious shit over the last 11 years.

I haven't been in the business as long as most people here so I can only imagine how shady some of it can be

They currently transitioning to WPS 2, with SOC as the provider.
