guys,

haven't been on the board since back to work, but wanted to say thanks for all the regards and comments. I have to say it was indeed a tough week once i got back CONUS and made the trip to MD to see his mom and gf. All in all was an amazing outpouring of folks for the viewings and memorial service. He definitely would of approved of the service, mil honors, uniforms looked great, very professional. Bad part is taps will always get to you. I know this is a buried post but haven't been on here but once again I wanted to say thanks for the help gaining info and for all the regards

Matt Attalai was the other contractor killed. I served with Matt in HHC 2-3 INF. Crazy Canadian, his family holds a ceremony every Labor Day weekend for him in the UP.
