One of the Rangers.

Years later when I was a 1SG in 1st Bn, SWC I was talking about that trip and how the Rangers got the local troops a little POed at us because they didn't know the difference between the local shitters and showers.

One of the students going through as a medic raised his hand and admitted to being one of those Rangers. Few years later his was my company ops sergeant. Small world.

Ft Lewis to NW of Khartoum with no stops. That's a long haul anyway you look at it.

Just watched it. I get why some of the BTDTs don't like it but for the rest of us and my wife, I thought it was pretty solid.

General Zod was a good casting choice.

As I was perusing through the channels to find something to watch to make me stay awake for my shift, I saw this was showing at 0130hrs.

It seems I am always late to the show anymore. I watched it, thought it was Okay. It definitely had the Hollywood angles to it.

After reading so many of the forum members responses, I had reservations. It passed the time for 2 hours or so, and it was free.

The one thing I did like, was the conversation between the Team Captain and Gen. Zod regarding how the US will lose one way or the other whether we stay or go.
