SPOILER ALERT!!!!

The "Israeli" method requires two hands to transform from paperweight to pistol. Don't bother posting about anyone's ability to chamber a round one-handed with the slide in battery.

Anyhow...

FAUDA SPOILER ALERT

If Doron's wife is so dead-set against him being involved with military, why is she banging another unit member in season 1?

Agreed. I saw some Israeli CQB videos on FB last week that were just Like so bad I wouldn't have even stood on the catwalk if I was there. And this was a demo for a CQB School to show off their techniques....LOL

They do some cool stuff from an Intel/Tradecraft perspective, but weapons and CQB skills....not a fan.

The Israel military is overrated. The only reason so many people think they are top notch and shine is compared to all their neighbors they really stand out.

I really want a Tavor now.

2nd Season was pretty good. Looking forward to a third season. Is damn good TV, that is for sure!

Finished Season 2 yesterday. It *is* a pretty good show. Ending was a bit anti-climactic though.

Lol miscarriage. ^ Interrogation: let's push all the buttons.

The unit those guys are based on is real, yeah. I was airborne infantry, and pulled 9 months in the West Bank. I saw those guy operate a few times: in other words, I'm pulling static post making sure Arabs don't kill Jews, and all of a sudden all hell would break loose, guys in civvie clothes were yelling in Arabic, and someone was getting snatched off the street in the back of a peugot.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duvdevan_Unit

In the 90's, the unit had the highest body count of any idf unit.

Finally seen the first 2 episodes and I give the show 5 stars so far. The opening scene says it all for me!

Into Ep.9 now and I'm feeling the show already jumped the shark.

********SPOILER ALERT**********

The sheik incident with the daughter was too early in my opinion. All that action, where does the show go from here? I still have a few S1 episodes left. Looks like blackmail may get the unit back together but too much too soon.

I really enjoyed Season 2 as well. It tied up some loose ends but Season 3 should be epic.

The moment the hot doctor with a beak any raptor would be proud of told her dweeb cousin/husband that she was ovulating, I knew Doron was going to be pounding that again. The wife didn't believe me....

I can't wait for S3! Best show in a while, I'm just worried it will get too soap opera and not enough sneaky face shootey.

After Fauda and Babylon Berlin, you realize how shitty American TV shows are.

You know it. Thanks for posting about these, I'd have never known of them otherwise. The wife and I binged both of them.

Just wrapped up Season and really liked it. Sure it has drama issues but still far better than most anything else.

With Season 2 wrapped up pretty cleanly, will season 3 center around the Hamas leader? Or will a new antagonist appear?

It looks like Season 3 will be on Netflix in May 2019.
