I don't even have cable. I just download on I Tunes the 4 TV shows I watch each week (Vegas, The Americans, H5O, and The Middle) With a Season pass it is less than $1 an episode. I also don't want to pay for cable to get over 200 channels, when I would probably only watch 3-4 of them.

Right now my biggest gripe is they seem to take forever to post each episode online. Still waiting for last week's.

Apple I Tunes has it the very next day after airing. Last week's episode aired on the 13th. Was available for download at 0001 hrs on the 14th. I bought the season pass, so as soon as episode is available, it starts to download. $15 for the entire season.

Watched the first 2 episodes on demand this weekend. Pretty good. A real flashback to think about 1981 DC.

Yeah, well, being both cheap and broke , I've seen it on the FX site, usually within a day or so.

This weeks episode, what a episode ending! Did not see that coming. Things are starting to get real interesting now.

I really like this show, but this week's episode stretched the suspension of disbelief a little too far. Worse, I could see it coming.

Not so old school. I still teach SV without comms; only when the team has that down will I allow comms.

Downloaded 1st season off Graboid last night and watched Pilot + 6 episodes. I'm really enjoying it. Certainly some modern day stuff creeping in occasionally, but it seems to be a pretty good show based on the period. Lots of memories of those days at the White House. The dude that plays the husband is a badass in his own way. And Miss Russell is hot! I'd fuck her hair!!!!!

But after 7 epsiodes I am very tired...was up until 0330.

Watched S2E1 last night. All in all not bad. Starting to see a "curious daughter" theme building up...hope it does not ruin it like the unbearable daughter segments in Homeland. I do like the no holds barred action scenes. But watching the replay of last season just before the episode started it occurred to me that in the part where they were escaping the FBI and rammed backwards into their cars, they would have got their license plate. but maybe that will come up later.

I like Russell's attitude toward sex. Just another day at the office. No big deal.

I wish I had some secrets she needed.

Thumbs up

I have been thoroughly enjoying this show.

Also, aside from the well done story so far, I have been very impressed with the production people on this show.
I am a nitpicking nerd when it comes to watching movies or shows set in a specific time period.
So far, on whatever limited budget this show has, all their interior and exterior shots have looked authentic early 1980's.
I keep expecting to see something out of place... a piece of clothing, or a sign in a store window in the background, or something... but they've been pretty flawless so far.

No joke. I would be the worst motherfucker when it came to the honeypot traps. Good thing for the US that I was 8 when the cold war "ended".
