That could certainly be in the future since they have started doing episodes where the past champions are competing against each other. I know that several shows that follow their format end up with an episode where the judges compete.

I'm not sure if Marcaida could make a blade.

I would like to be able to watch more of the "art" of blade smithing.
Some people are pushing for a Faceoff type format. That way people can see more of what goes on and the art of bladesmithing. Also it allows people to get to know the personality of the bladesmith.

Wil has gotten into bladesmithing now. Not sure about Doug though.

The apple slice test on the latest episode was pretty cool. So was the "Wild Boar".

I want to go buy a spear now.

Oh my gosh! Will now has a man bun. Someone please tell him his current hair style choices aren't doing him any favors.

He's hot but it was hard to get past that long hair with the permed look and the man bun is far worse.

Hmmmmm...

Doing several episodes without a shirt would work wonders. But why stop there? Some skin tight boxer briefs would be even better.

Got you covered Linda...though I will not ask for shirtless shenanigans in a forge. (For the same reason I do not cook bacon naked)

I would like to see an episode where they draw lots to "test" each other's blades after the judges test. ...you can tell they're itching for it!

Women are very aware of what hot bacon grease can do to the boobage when cooking nekkid. Same reason I do not wear v-neck or scoop neck shirts at the range. T-shirts only.

Will can stay away from the forge just host in his tightie whities.

Not a bad idea about drawing lots. Yes it will keel!

In case anyone is interested. Episode 9 from Season 2 is now available for download. For some reason, that episode was never listed or available for download until now.

Which was kind of strange, because the winner of that episode was cast as one the "winners" that competed in the first episode of Season 3.

Tonight starts the new season. It's the "Champion of Champions Series." I am hoping for some good work since it's all returning champions competing against each other.

A good boar spear is one of my next forging projects...should finally be able to get back to it soon...I live in Suburbia now, so I'm setting up my forge at my parents' place in Arkansas...reckon I'll just be heading out on long weekends to hit hot metal with a hammer.

Finally a folder is one of the things they had to forge/fabricate.

Indeed it was. I really liked their final weapon of choice. The winner made a nice looking blade.

Thought the last episode of bring 4 "losers" back to compete was pretty cool. Interesting to see that two of the contestants were former student and teacher.

Hey, what is the deal with some contestants though always showing up wearing kilts or dressed like Japanese sword makers?

I really wish I could afford several dozen of those ballistic dummies for doing some of my own tests.
