"Oh, we're using our made-up names."

Legitimately laughed at that one.

I still can't believe how it shattered the Fandango record so quickly.

It is gonna be epic, I don't know how the DC fanboys thought Justice League was going to compete. Don't get me wrong, I would love for DC to be putting out some good movies too, the more the merrier, but it just isn't the reality. Super pumped to see Thanos just fucking shit up though.

That new deadpool 2 trailer looks awesome. I really hope they pull Cable off well. He was always one of my favorites.

I follow Liefeld on social, he's been nothing but stoked about the whole thing. He created both those characters and has just been ecstatic that the big risk Marvel took in letting him launch them over 20 years ago.

We just got back from the first local showing. One of my boys bought tickets for everyone.

Goooooooood flick. Some great lines. Some old faces show back up. No spoilers from me.

Just saw it. Since the Time Stone figures so prominently in the film, I can say that you will not look at your watch during the entire 150 minutes of run time. A few highlights (but no spoilers):

* Thanos is the main character and a tortured, imperfect soul. Kudos to Josh Brolin for bringing him to life.
* The dynamics between Tony Stark, Dr. Strange, Spider-Man, Thor and the Guardians of the Galaxy are well played on both a comedic and action level.
* The CGI is big, really big. I'm going to try and find an IMAX theatre when I see it again.

I left the theatre wanting the next installment now, it was that good to me.

Enjoy.

Agreed on all counts.

Brolin did a great job with Thanos, as did Marcus and McFeely (script).

Definitely looking forward to next year.

Amazing movie; but somehow I feel cheated by the ending. Can’t elaborate without giving spoilers, so I won’t.

And you’re right, the 150 minutes flew by leaving me wanting more.

All I can say is WOW. I was ready for another 2 hours.

I also felt a little cheated by the end...

As usual, stick around for the post credits scene.

I have never really been a fan of two-part movies. But I guess if there has ever been one that needed it, this story is it. I enjoyed it, although I was expecting some characters that have been teased to appear here I guess they will pop up in the Captain Marvel movie and the second volume of this movie.

Nice culmination of 10 years of really good filmmaking. Definitely a must-see. If you're a Marvel geek and grew up reading, chances are you've read the Infinity Gauntlet...you will not be surprised by the things you see. All others will be in for an experience.

Best characters: Thanos for making a nihilist seem noble (even in his own mind). Stephen Strange for being a badass. Yeah, I know they are going to be labeling Captain Marvel as the most powerful character in the MCU, but the REAL fans know Stephen Strange is the mightiest...and could snuff out the other heroes with a simple spell...

...REALLY enjoyed how the trailers had next to nothing to do with the film. Witty misdirection...

Agree. Hard to make a move look like a comic, but they did. Great story and show of Thanos' power levels.

Awesome flick - funny, action packed, ups/downs. Will have to see it again to catch little things missed in the pace of the film. Thanos is a difficult character to do; usually all the CGI can gloss over the needed character development. However, Brolin did a great job with a nice touch from the script.

Its pretty amazing they jammed so much into a film and still made it work. Impressive.
