Womens Rowing

There are any number of debates about which pool of women athletes are the most fit, but I just watched the Norfolk State University rowing team board my flight and they would get my vote: broad shoulders, traps forever and nearly all with biceps that looked like they could curl a shell.

I would certainly put rowers towards the top of any most fit athlete list. They need tremendous pulling strength and endurance with their back/shoulders/arms and pushing strength and endurance with their legs.

If you like chicks that can palm basketballs, big feet and callouses all over their hands....I'll hook you up with some available female rowers.

My daughter rows for a D1 program, in fact....I just walked in the door from picking her up after her conference championship after driving like 7 hours round trip for like 14 minutes of racing....funny I should see this as I'm looking to relax.

Yes there's some good looking athletes that row, there's also some who are let's say, a 'little' overweight. (You've got a few 215+ pounders in there).

The frustrating thing about this sport is all the backstabbing drama that goes on. I've seen it from high school on up to the college level. Parents who think their kids should be in the V1 etc etc etc, girls talking smack and tattling on each other in order to get a seat on the V1....

Sorry....I've only had one beer since I've been back after I spent an hour and a half being stuck on the GWB (George Washington Bridge) trying to get home.

My Dad (old school football coach) used to say (jokingly), that it's the only sport where you can win "sitting on your ass going backwards"

Justa...NOVA is pretty damn good....I know of them

Looks are subjective - but I can't imagine anyone not liking the "Athletic Hot" competitors in the various fitness federations 'Bikini Division'. Just one, of 10,000 examples:

Thx for the link, Poly. Very viewable. But I shudder to think of the unimaginably high levels of CRAZY that have to be associated with those visual feasts.
