The Blacklist on NBC

Very much liking this series so far. James Spader is awesome as he normally is and Megan Boone is very easy on the eyes. I know the stories are a bit far fetched, but they do a good job at keeping the show moving forward.

Anyone else watching it?

Got it DVR'd and watch it. Yes a bit far fetched, but Spader plays a a pretty good creepy/spook type. We enjoy it.

It's a good fill-in for The Following, which won't come on again until January or February next year. That is a show that leaves you with WTF? moments (in a good way) throughout!

I like it. Far fetched and it took me a few to get in stride but I'm enjoying it so far.

Yeah, we've been watching it. Definitely far-fetched, but suspend a lot of disbelief in favour of decent acting, and it's enjoyable on the DVR

At least I don't start screaming at the TV like I do at the The Walking Dead....

Spader has such a rich and vibrant voice. Really gives his character some depth.

Spader is awesome in this. He's good enough to overcome the fact that all of the other players couldn't act their way out of paper bags. I enjoy the 'far-fetched' aspect of stuff. The other (good guy) actors suck, esp all the FBI people. The 'terrorists' are generally okay, Spader is outstanding. I want to be like him.

James Spader is more of a dialogue dominating actor. He may write some of his lines but his delivery has always been outstanding.

So, a break until mid-January. Lizzie's (sp) husband remains a tool. Cool show.

Watching it now.

The BBDA was not exactly clear in the opening sequence in the back of that Jeep.

James Spader is the whole show. Perfect fit for that role.

I never watched the show when it first aired but was scrolling through Netflix and saw it. The pilot episode with the girl being kidnapped? How the hell did anyone watch past that? lol
If it gets better, I may try a few more episodes.... Even my wife was "WTF?!"

We watched a few seasons....
....and there is no reasonable explanation for why Raymond Reddington keeps his identity or purposes secret from Elizabeth Keen. Apart from that annoying dynamic, it was a good show until we got tired of it....
