Poking a bit of fun at myself

This is an old cartoon I took off the wall of the student barracks after a class circa early 90's. It's one students depiction of me, which was fairly accurate. Back then we still used the Unertyl 100m scopes for spotting and I had an affinity for RayBan aviators. Was getting rid of a bunch of old shit out of my shop the other day and came across it.

Hope you didn't get rid of that. Look at that jawline and those huge guns! haha, too cool.

That's the only good thing about the way the Army used to roll their sleeves. Even a noodle arm like me looked like I had guns.

Damn nice item to find. Just wish I still had one of those Unertl scopes... have you seen the price on them recently?

I've settled instead on the Bausch & Lomb Balscope 60mm with a set of eyepieces. I was always the one complaining when the coach said "miss"

Yeah, those old Unertyl 100's are higher than Giraffe pussy, if you can even find one. Damn fine glass though.

For anybody reading this thread that hasn't done the sniper thing, we used to do a lot of drawing/sketching. Pre digital camera days. Saw some guys come thru who could actually draw incredibly well, which always amazes me because it's a skill I had NONE of.

I like the ascot. They thought you were arrogant or an asshole. I am gong with both when it comes to your craft.

Not sure what that student thought was in your left hand...

Keep it or send it to someone who will.

That's worth framing and hanging.
