I've never shot a bull-pup style. It seems like a full sized 12g with a bull pup setup would make for a pretty swell tactical shotgun. All of the capacity and ballistic benefits of a long barrel with a more manageable length in tight spaces.

I need to do some learning on pros/cons and types of conversion kits - does any one own a bullpup or have enough hands-on experience to have an opinion?

What are you doing with the TLR1s? Using them as hammers

I've only every had water issues(they don't do well when submerged for prolonged periods)

Yea I was googling that and saw they make an adaptor for the 590, is that required to cycle the shells I would assume it is.

Really leaning towards the 590 now.

For reliable feeding yes, it is worth $15. Made from rubber pops right in and out.

I believe there is a gun show in town next week, depending on the prices I may grab one.

Most of the shops around here have them in stock but they are all around the $450 range so I'll be looking for the $400 mark this weekend.

I'm a cheap bastard.

Crap.. I paid $385 I think through Brownells.. and they were running a discount. Sorry about your high prices.. That's a fair amount of buckshot, to miss out on!

But I'm just egging you on.

TLR-3s have a plastic body and are known for being less durable, TLR-1s should not break with ordinary use.

I need to buy a vacation property in a neighboring state and get a SBS. I liked my Wilson Professional model from my cop days. My state doesn't allow SBS possession, but the neighboring states do.

590 for $390 tax tag and title. Would have been about $475 after tax had I bought it at the gun shop.

That sling mount at the front of the mag tube is asking for complications.

Yea I have a split ring on it for now, don't know what I want to do with it. Probably get a set of regular sling swivels.

Gotta figure where to mount this in the truck, I'm thinking on the driver side B Pillar.

Because this is still a "Firearm" there shouldn't be any issues taking it across state lines like if I go to the inlaws house in PA and drive through Maryland?
