1) At higher setting Dot is not crisp like Aimpoint or other brands.

2) Mount rattles loose with heavy use.

I have been using one as a beater optic for under $100 USD I can't bitch. Had it in the cold left it in water overnight and it still works. Been holding zero through all that. I do have a hard time seeing the dot on higher settings. The dot kinda "smears" out I wouldn't trust my life to one for playing at the range it does ok.

Hope that helps you.
Helps a lot thank you.

Speaking of SBR’s. AU.com is getting rid of some police trade in AR’s in 11.5” and 14.5” sbr’s.

Lowest I’ve seen from them, so I wonder if they are crud Colt Expansion parts?

They are all gone. They were police trade ins from an agency in Utah. They were probably around 10+ years old.

The other company I work with was awarded the contract to replace them all.

We were awarded the contract last summer. I believe it was June/July time frame. I will be teaching an Armorer Course at their location next week.

[QUOTE=Maverick;1058712869]I'm going to guess you meant Arms Unlimited?

I just went through Arms Unlimited for a department suppeessor purchase. Surefire 5.56 (not the SOCOM) with free muzzle device for $650. Their prices for most of the items seem to be tough to beat. Got the suppressor a few days after the department ordered it, they handled ATF stuff. Department purchase being completely different than personal use.
