I just got my order now - looks and smells awesome. The mailman brought the package to the door and he said it was making him crazy - the smell was filling up his truck and when he ran out of his coffee the package "smelled too good".

I'd be nervous as to the fate of future deliveries.

My (inadvertent) 2 lbs of Burundi is all gone! It was excellent...though not what I expected. Worked well for SO and my clever dripper. I finished it off while at FLETC using my hand grinder and tea sacks...everyone there thinks I'm weird until they smell the coffee, then they just want some.

I've got one of those Moka pot things. I rarely make coffee at home since I drive into work and get it here, or go down to the local shop by the beach on weekends before I stroll the beach with the dog looking for huge washed up kilos of coke I can sell and retire rich...

but I digress. I do make coffee before going out on weekend nights, in the Moka pot. So coffee is likely to last a long time. I have a grinder so I can handle that.

What would you recommend? Keep in mind it will likely live in tupperware for a month before I go through it.

You can freeze half of it, until you use the first half. It'll keep it much fresher, much longer.

My Torro is good in a Moka pot, or Java Kopi Sunda.

Cool, thanks. I'll order up some. Should I grind, then freeze, or freeze the beans and just take out the ones I want and grind then?

I would keep it as whole bean, divide it half, and freeze half. The other half grind as needed before brewing, then once it's gone, take the other half out and keep it out. It's not great to keep taking it out of the freezer, due to condensation.

So, I'm filling out the application for the $250,000 GRANT above. I'll not only need to fulfill their requirements, but obtain 250 votes of support on their site:

www.missionsmallbusiness.com

If you guys can take the time to log in, and vote for West Coast Roasting Company in Venice, CA, I'd be much obliged.
