The original with Charles Bronson was pretty good.

Much of what we are doing now is still based on the foundation this Raid laid.

Looking forward to seeing it.

Looks really good. Operation thunderbolt was one of my favorite movies when I was a teen.

On the movie, great to see a modern version on the screen.

Captains arriving at Stockton Metropolitan Airport had a little explaining to do in summer of 1975 as their passengers noticed a "terminal" with WELCOME TO ENTEBBE across the facade!

Damn right they did, considering the raid was the following year!

On our Bicentennial, July 4, 1976...

I was Charles Bronson driver in the original movie Raid on Entebbe, I have a copy of the Movie, some where I have some photo's with Bronson an me.

The Movie was made in Van Nuys & Stockton Metropolitan Airport.
Stockton was kind of like the air port in Entebbe,

One of the Guys that drove the Black Limo was white & they put makeup to make him to look black. One night he left it on an went home to show his wife, she woke up an just about shot him, for the way he looked. His wife later told us he pissed in his pants as he was telling her don't shoot it just me.
