Nightstalker Wine

About 24 or so years ago, I purchased three bottles of this.
1 for my parents, 1 for my Brother, and 1 for myself.

My parents bottle got broken, mine got lost in a move somewhere, and last night, my brother gave his back to me.

The last of the three.....
Still unopened.

I don't think they've done the red for ages. All I've seen lately was the light colored ones. Need to check their website and order some for me.

They have a new label for the Nightstalkers and you can have your own 'label' made and placed on bottles if you order 3 cases or more. I did that for my daughters wedding...

Thanks, Sarn't Major! That is good, no, great news. I like to give those to my wino friends for special occasions.

Problem is, a lot of them save them because of the label. I have to tell them, "hell no, it's not to look at, it's to drink!"

Awesome!

Do any funds make their way back to a cause? Id love to get a few bottles for my FiL, and it'd be extra sweet if the money goes to a NS supported project.

If it does, I have no knowledge. And I don't think the NSA sells it. Sometimes you can get extra bottles left over from events at unit's cost. Not often. Going direct to the source has always, since 1988, been my choice. Here it is:

http://www.beachavenwinery.com/#!wines/cjg9

They'll ship it wherever you need it to go. Very helpful on phone, and easier to get info and rates than the website.

I'm always open to purchasing wine especially if it benefits our warriors, however, when I pulled up the link the site says for the military labels a minimum of 25 cases is required. Any advice on purchasing less than this?

That's why I call and talk to the person at the winery, Linda. I've had as little as 2 or3 bottles shipped.

Bottles of wine with the units assigned to Fort Campbell are sold daily at the PX.

There is no incentive sent directly to the unit or its charities unless you consider the money sent to MWR by AAFES. You can also buy the wine at the winery if you're passing through Clarksville.

I 'designed' the label I wanted after contacting their sales department and wasn't satisfied with their design options...

Just for shits and giggles I googled the SAS Golden jubilee wine. Wine searchers has bottles from that region and year going for $650 to $1250....

Anyone know if I have something like that or do I have wine in a box in a bottle?

Thanks. Tho I do buy by the case I'd probably have to calm EMS to shock my husband's heart into beating again if I ordered 25 cases at once. LOL
