I and a handful of others from the 129th took 5 of our hawks via C5 to Panama in the fall of 1987. I did two 3 month tours there (another in '88). As most of you know, the 129th was absorbed into the 160th as 3rd Battalion while the 617th later moved to Puerto Rico to become D co, 3rd Battalion.

I am not sure of their current designation since 3rd BN shuffled their company identifiers.

159th also has a hangar next to 3rd BN at Hunter AAF (was supposed to be our Chinook hangar but was snatched up by them during Desert Storm).

Did you go to the 25th? Probably a lot of people you would have remembered. Santa, Cochise, Todd T., Chaz L., and every Bn Cdr since. Was quite the affair.

Yes, I did! Was a blast and the group photo we had taken is awesome.
