Anyone have experience with geofeedia-type programs?

For executive protection purposes? Thoughts or feedback?

Daily. What do you want to know? Last I heard, Geofeedia got banned from Twitter/Facebook. Maybe they reconciled.

My initial advice, it's an expensive tool that may give you relevant information a couple times a year. Don't put it on your phone unless you want a vibrator in your pocket...let an Ops Center monitor it. If the EP project isn't that big, I'd say there are better ways to spend your money with similar results.

Yes, with Geofeedia and a multitude of similar tools. What are you looking to use them for specifically?

Heh, I follow you on the phone comment. Whatsapp kicks my ass enough.

It's very high profile, but not huge. Thoughts on 'similar results'?

MixedLoad, social media monitoring for stalkers/creepers.

I wouldn't use Geofeedia for that.

1. Any tech/tool is only as useful as the people using it and procedures in place. (not a poke at you or your detail, rather a blanket statement that tools on their own don't solve anything)
2. I like the concept of tools that use geo monitoring, but a very small percentage of would be bad folks use social media with the geo information turned on
3. I would need to know what you're specifically trying to achieve and what other tools, and processes you have in place (or planning to have) prior to being able to recommend anything to fill the gaps
4. Happy to talk with you next week if you think that will be useful

Have a great weekend bro!
