I constantly tell dudes NOT to try to "Pre-learn" what they are going to teach you during the 84 days...

Nothing worse than having a Stud raise his hand as you are working thru the lesson plan, to "Help" you teach what his Uncles, Neighbor (who was in SoF in Veet Nam) taught him...

I'll have to make sure he understands how to invoke the name of 2/75 anytime he screws something up.

Otherwise, he just needs to sit there and keep his mouth shut.

Bear in mind that what you teach him CAN be beneficial (a great example is teaching him Circumnavigation and terrain association) that will supplement his "Dead Reckoning" and "Deliberate Offset" Nav training they will give him...

JUST MAKE SURE HE DOESN'T open his mouth when the Instructors are doing the Lords work... They don't like that too much! : )

ALSO: If/When he gets down here, drop me a pm and I'll hook you up with the digits in case he needs any "help"/Mentorship while down at Hurby.

...Thanks, Hotmike. I'll keep you posted on his progress. He's got a ways to go yet still.

The possibility of me ringing anyone who can lay down a can of smoke on him is highly probable...
