Guess I'll start today and catch up. A bit of a warning, make sure you're at least reasonably well conditioned before doing this (shouldn't be a problem for anyone here). I've seen a few people get some pretty wicked tendinitis doing a lot of burpees. Never had a problem with it, personally, but I've seen a few who had issues...could be due to bad form, but just a word of warning, either way. Personally, I'm rehabing from injury, so I'll be taking it slow.

Hell, these "Burpees" are just a short 8 count push-up. http://youtu.be/aWT_SyZMeCY Why not go ahead and add the 2nd pushup and call them Military Burpees?

I'm in, doing the old 8 count pushup, (burpee is just too gay) catching up today with seven.

Reed, I hope your arm's healed up doing these... !

IIRC, the 8-count body builder, doesn't include the jump. But I may be wrong.

I know dick about PT, but I wonder if the additional pushup might be giving a little extra rest. Maybe not.

As Smoked states, add a box jump at the end. Do 100 for time. I think I have a thread here somewhere doing 100 with a boxjump in less than 20 min. If you do this, have an O2 tank nearby....

I remember doing these a few years back with you and mdb23?....that 100 at sub 20 mins was an absolute suck. Like one of the worst 20 minute sucks ever.

I did the event and the trainups in a public park. I've never had so many preschoolers talk so much trash about me as when I was lying on the ground after these workouts, trying to find a breathable substance that didn't include CO2....

Haha.....I remember that. Isn't it kinda neat knowing we're not doing that challenge and we get to laugh at them? I'm feeling pretty good about that.


BTW, I recall your jump being 26" - overachiever. :)
