Love me some blue crab. Only problem is you can starve to death eating them. Softshells are another under rated experience.

I got a double today...

Calling a new service provider with a 276 area code and spoke to a couple of sweet gals: J and C, both obviously native.

My wife giving notice at work. They suck and is she finally moving on, to a way better place.

She will start beating me home for the first time in 15+ yrs!!!

That's awesome!!

Is that the river you told me about, or another I will have to ask about?

Watching our 18-year old daughter, a high school senior, on opening night tonight in the leading role of Laurie in her school's production of Oklahoma!

She's a 5-octave mezzosoprano...and she nailed it!

Seated in the center of the front on the blue dress....

That's outstanding, DH. I asked my wife what a 5-octave mezzosoprano was because she is a soprano as well. Her response, "That means she can get up there with her ranges!"

That's a happy dad moment for sure!

Her voice coach says she thinks she has perfect pitch, too....which as I understand it, combined with her range, is pretty rare.

Daughter or not, she's got a great singing voice. It was fun to watch her have so much fun onstage with her pals.

That's outstanding...especially if she has plans to further her singing career -- professionally or not. I hope she plans on continuing to use her gifts.
