I watched it yesterday while recuperating from a tooth extraction. It was OK. Reminded me of a cross between 'The Punisher' & 'Death Wish'. All in all a good action, suspend belief movie for a couple of hours

Watched it yesterday on streaming vid (one of the pirate options). Not horrible, lots of choreography going on, some of the gun manipulation didn't look bad.

Due to the super-heavy influence of the Weaver position and the bolt release on the M4 mag change, I'm guessing either some time out at Gunsight or heavy LAPD/NYPD TA participation....

Did some research, looks like a mix of Hong Kong fu-stuff, and LAPD....

Fun movie and choreography. The gun fighting reminded me of Equilibrium.

Gun Kata, a martial art so ancient it was invented prior to firearms.

Watched it the other night and found it entertaining, although The "killed my dog.." story line is more believable here.

To remember, and then go back to the ledgers and the commuter train, that was impossible. He knew he would eat his heart out if it ever came to that."

I kind of liked the gun-fu. Don't think I'll be trying it though... Probably shoot myself in the foot.

Liked the choreography and gun play for sure. Ensured there wasn't much room for Keanu to talk.

Story line was so-so.

Keanu just isn't the badass type.

Gun-fu was meh.

Loved the cars.

The chick had ground game.

such a great movie. My favorite part is when john wick is in club red. the security guard calls the all clear just as he turns the corner, wick is standing there and attacks him. He stabs the guard in the gut and then cups the guards mouth and thrusts the knife under the guards jaw. As the guard goes down, wick stares into his eyes as he dies in his grip.

woah. just brutal bros!!! cold blooded!

I watched probably 3 weeks ago, already forgot most of the movie.

It's a fast food movie, doesn't hold up, mildly entertaining.

Wow, somebody had entirely too much time on their hands to compile those stats. Or they could be made up. 72% of all statistics are made-up

I have a feeling we'll be seeing more John Wick movies in the future.

Must've blown the budget on Keanu Reeves and got the script off the internet.

I was thinking about this today because someone I work with watches it over and over.

Here is what I’ve been thinking about. This is somewhat symbolic.
Some men are brilliant scientists, some musicians, some spiritually tuned in. Not me, I’m just not built that way. I’ve always been warlike and good at knocking people down. That’s just my nature.
This movie made me think of what a hugely civilizing influence my wife has been on my life. She is sweet, gentle and pretty much everything I’m not. If not for her… I don’t know where I would be.
