Keanu Reeves is the BEST ACTOR EVER.

When I retire, I will open a university dedicated to the study of Keanu Reeves and his craft. While it seems difficult to pack this amazing body of work into just four years, most people must dedicate time to things that actually earn an income.

I am still working on the syllabus, but this is my basic plan.

YEAR ONE: Let's start lighthearted, with Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and Parenthood.

YEAR TWO: A walk on the wild side, with Street Kings and Point Break.

YEAR THREE: We're going to explore the romantic, classical arts, with Dangerous Liaisons and My Own Private Idaho.

YEAR FOUR: A true challenge. The Matrix series. with Honors credits if a student can actually explain the plot coherently.

For those who truly pursue excellence (and have a trust fund), two years of Postgraduate study comparing and contrasting 47 Ronin and The Replacements, two incredible films which have identical plots, yet no one actually watched.
Have you considered maybe a student day trip, maybe rent a bus to go somewhere and study the elements of the movie Speed?

Followed up by a semester at sea where you can study Speed II?

Just food for thought?

I think those were some of his best works.. Though Point Break is my hands down favorite.

We went to a cabin this weekend where there was no cell service nor cable tv. You could take DVDs from the lodge and play them on a player in the room.

I made the rib watch Point Break since she had never seen it. It's her current favorite movie.

I'm looking forward to it.

It's one of those movies that I have to watch alone, the wife doesn't like over the top violent movies.

She hid her eyes through most of Fury in the theater...

I just watched it again. I really like the fact that they show mag changes and the stuff generally left out of movies. He runs out of ammo more than once. Doing some mandatory job training recently, I tried entering a room with the CAR stance. Yeah, I dunno, I'm used to isosceles, I'll stick to that.

Movie aside, I met him and got to hang with him a few times when I was stationed at El Toro( before the aliens blew it up) I lived in San Clemente. He had a band called dogstar and would play the smaller pubs there. Guy I rode the dawn patrol at the pier with knew him and I got to chat with him a few times.
Nice, humble, very intelligent guy. Just look up his charity work and kindness. I will watch his films good or bad out of respect for the dude.

You may change your tune after you watch Chain Reaction.

He was pretty good in this flick, he might have found a genre worth sticking to. At some point, Liam Neeson is going to have to relinquish his title as the go-to "revenge movie" actor.

In the meantime, check out this clip of from the stage production of Point BreakLive! They choose an audience member prior to each performance to play the role of Johnny Utah, holding up cue cards for him to read the lines throughout.

Saw the movie a week ago after checking-out this thread. Being a fan of Keanu Reeves, I thought WTF not, sounds interesting.

Thoroughly entertained with some pretty nice fight/shooting scenes for sure. There is a sequel in-development as of now, as well.

LOL, the point-shooting crowd will always have something to throw out there to try an keep hyping the idea that rounds will magically go where we look. It isn't surprising a Brit cop invented this particular nonsense, Brit cops are at the tippytiptip of modern firearms tactics and manipulation....

I watched the trailer a few weeks ago. It seemed a little over the top IMO. I'm still going to watch it, but I don't think it'll be as good as the first.
