They can not and will not be reasoned with. People need to get that through their minds.

Rest In Peace!

The nor and filipino are dead as well. Abu sayyaf has allied itself to IS but luckily IS has denied or ignored their claim luckily. They are nothing but thugs looking for $ and when they don't get it they revert to islamist ideology to give them a reason to kill.
The US should really think about hitting them hard while their numbers are small & weakened influence. Theres probably less then 200 fighters with them now in the jungle areas.

For information, various members of their affiliates have posted images of the norwegian and filipino being killed on the darkweb.
This is literally one of the groups that the US and or its allies could take out with sweet justice but have not done so yet. Abu sayyaf really is unable at this point to garner local support and relies upon the outlying areas to be able to hide out. A contingency force could probably kill or capture most of them within a month as again the locals do not support the group anymore as they deem it as unstable and a issue for prosperity.

Fucking savages.

These guys (IS/radical Muslims) fight like the dark ages. They are brutal.
While we, as a society, have elected more "civilized" manners of destruction and death and we choose to bury our heads in the sand about the realities of war. Perhaps a drone that swoops down and cuts off heads would do more to discourage the enemy.

Or a few tactical nukes, as some have mentioned. This will continually be an issue, until we bring complete and utter annihilation to these cock suckers.

The issue isn't Islam. They are wannabe DAESH (ISIS) thugs. The thing is Abu Sayyaf is super small. Their online presence is bigger thr n their actual presence. They could be eliminated easily if we dedicated the resources to do so. Many even Islamists f I not support them. It's a matter of putting the resources on the ground to do so. Map out the area of the current dead and go within 30km around it. You'll find the fuckers.
