Just finished The Prophet of Cobb Hollow. Very well written book that spans many interesting portions of our history. Well developed characters and an enjoyable story sequence. If you're a fan of history based fiction, take the time and read this one. It's well worth it.

I thought the author was a "strong" Ranger. Must be of the "smart" variety.

Bought Scars of the Prophet from B&N. Started reading it Friday while watching the Storm in VA Beach. Great read, could not put it down.
Thanks Mingo!

I just put down Mingo's book, the Prophet of Cobb Hollow. Very well written. I think he did a great job referencing American History to tell his story. I am looking forward to his next novel.

My publisher dropped the eBook price for, The Prophet of Cobb Hollow to a 1.99$. I'm not sure for how long until they raise it back up to 7.99$.

Stopp, I'll take a few pics of the setting where Reuben Judah's story took place and post them.

That's a damn shame, the book is worth at least $2.50.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha....Thank you, that would mean I'd get a nickel for each book sold instead of 3 cents. To date I have bought more of my own books and given them away than I've sold.

I'm 20% through Scars of the Prophet on my kindle fire. Great writing Mingo. Fluid, real, visceral. I can't wait to continue the story tonight.

Very accurate depiction of Marines from a Ranger author. But I always thought Marines and Rangers were cut from the same stone.

I'm looking forward to getting your other books after this one.

Thanks for the Birthday wishes folks...as I told Shadow, there's nothing like celebrating your birthday on the one day per year when the local, trailer dwelling meth-heads can take a perfectly good pumpkin and carve family, self portraits

As promised, here are a few pics covering the setting for all three of my novels. My son and I walked the entire landscape, starting with the place I write, an old bus on the back reaches of the property…I have named this place, ‘The Magic Bus’.

To the left, along the gentle downward slope of the mountains are the ‘Bee Rocks’ which sits above Reuben Shadrack Judah’s land.
