The sooner that fuckstick Mabus (Carter, too) is gone, the better off the Navy will be.

You have got to be shitting me. We have really lost it as a nation. I am sure the sailors who are to serve on this ship will love the idea they are on a ship named in honor of a homosexual activist.

Just another indication we have passÚd the point of no return as a nation. We have let political correctiveness destroy our military and our nation.

Many of the other names, are also a bunch of PC BS.

There have been many sailors and marines, honorable men and women, who have given their lives for this nation in Afghanistan and Iraq and other places that would have been much more fitting.

The USS Milk is going to be an oiler? Did I get that right?

Am I the only one seeing the irony in that?

Surely they would have to come down hard on those who refused, but that would not be a good start to the ship. A very strange situation.
They'll give it hell through nicknames like we do to you Trail Apes :D

I agree with you though...very strange, but our ADF is getting to be a political animal itself these days so I guess we can't be too surprised!

By the by and off topic...what Battery were you?

Cheers,

In that case USS Fedex or USS 3Com. Both preferable to either the USS Murtha or the USS Milk.

If she were to be elected President, I feel absolutely certain that an aircraft carrier would eventually be named after her. I also anticipate an aircraft carrier USS Barak Obama will be commissioned in my life. The Navy has hundreds of military heroes, battles and heroic ships that it could choose better names from.

Yup. He is like Sherman on his march to the sea, burning the Navy and Marine Corps and everything else in his path.

I will not be surprised if he talks about the Battle of Gilligan's Island and want to name a ship USS Minnow.

Two new DDG's to be named after MoH recipients, former CMC Louis Wilson and our youngest MoH recipient Jack Lucas. Something tells me that Jack Lucas and I would have made good 'Libo Buddy's' in Olongapo back in the day.
