Decent action flick.

Basically is Death Wish. Except in keeping with Hollywoods SJW movement, the vigilante this time is a mom/wife who's husband and daughter are killed.

Entertaining, though predictable. But if on a plane and need to kill and hour and a half will suffice.

I thought it was good. Her weapons handling and unarmed techniques were great.

The action was better than Death Wish. I'm not clear why a revenge flick, featuring a female lead is claimed as a Hollywood SJM move.

I like strong women and not threatened by them appearing to be able to kick ass.

This one is going on the list - hadn't heard of it before. I love Jennifer Garner - always have going all the way back to Alias.

I bought it on Google Play and thought it was great. Death wish was more I will kill anyone that's an asshole. This was. "I'M COMING FOR YOU, ASSHOLE". Much more thought than shooting someone and hiding out Trayvon Martin Style with your hoodie up.

Watched this last night. I really enjoyed it as an action/revenge flick. Honestly better than most others in recent years. They didn't try to make her a "female Rambo". I thought the action scenes were well choreographed and I will add a +1 to SB's comment on H2H and weapons work.

And although this movie wasn't about acting - John Ortiz is one of my favorite actors.

That's almost exactly how I described it to my wife. It is clear she had put time in with Alias and previous action movies. I liked the story and the ending was great. Ms. Garner has aged quite well.

I don't get that at all either. Strong women are strong women because they are strong, not because they are women. I think sometimes the standard becomes clouded.

Watched this with the wife last night. Decent flick. Left it open for a sequel. Paid decent homage to the original Death Wish, I thought.
Jennifer Garner played the role well.

Yes she has!

Wife and I enjoyed it. I always get a little eye rolly when there's a hundred pound chick kicking the shit out of a bunch of two hundred pound guys, but this one didn't lay it on too too thick I didn't think.

Sure didn't go halfway on the bad guys either, very satisfying watching her kill them off like fruit flies.

Watched it on plane last night and thought it was entertaining. Jennifer Garner was a stud in the role.

Watched it last weekend. It was a good action flick, worth the Redbox charge.

Didn’t Notice it as Death Wish with a female lead but now that it’s brought up... YEP.
