Unity Resources Group

Anyone have info about this company? http://www.unityresourcesgroup.com/#

I've got a friend back stateside who is asking me about them, but to tell the truth I've never heard the company name. He's looking at a managerial position, doesn't sound security-oriented from what he's described.

Any info I could pass along would be appreciated.

Sound a lot like the Aussie mob, I have a mate there, and I know another Canuck who's just gone there after a stint in AFG.

x3 on the Australian run. I think they are technically based out of Dubai for tax reasons but its an Aussie company.

They have more than their fair share of assclowns and I could go on about the manangement all day long but the simple fact is they have a great deal going with some USAID paid companies, good living conditions and the standard decent pay rate (which is fast becomming the "well paid" category).

If you buddy can get a job with them in management I would tell him to go for it. He may not get a lot of professional satisfaction with them but he will make coin and live to spend it.

Good to go on the replies, I will see if I can get him registered here to contact some people.

That's "if" he's going to go through with it, considering his wife just sent me a pretty nasty email this morning about this.

You're right, I've never seen a fatass working for Dyn, BW, or any other company...

Only fat guy I've seen was a SouthAfrican they bounced during theatre induction training.
BR's right though, as a lot of companies have some heavy set folk around...

Putting a smile after a comment like that doesn't lessen the attempted slap.

I'm curious where you met this guy. You claimed to have returned from the Ronin crse in SA on 23 Oct 06. This crse is 5 weeks long and prior to that you had never done any work in Iraq. You are presently posting from Lativa where you live so you either met someone at training who claimed he worked for this company or you met him somewhere other than on the job in Iraq. None of this is proof this "person" actually was an employee of this company rather than a figment of imagination or someone who was lying about his experience.

You have been counseled before. Post garbage like this again and you'll get a holiday ride on the extract bird. Don't send me a PM either regarding this post. You can address any issues you have right in this thread since you felt secure in making your original comment here.

Inapropiate judgement

It was inappropiate of me to make a comment like this. Facts should have been gathered first before making any final conclusions. I have never worked in Iraq and I never put it in my profile. If I did it would be a lie, And I dont plan to go there in the near future. I have some friends that work on PSD teams in Iraq with whom I stay in touch. Also when you travel a lot,in my case, international, it is quite possible to meet a lot of people. Many countries in a month. This is type of work BG has to put up with. And its funny how often you can run into the same individuals over and over again. I dont work in Latvia most of the time. I just come here for R&R and to look after property.
Once again I appologise for inaccurate posting and comments in this thread.

Tom.

Nope -- I was in Afghanistan last year.
This was recent - young and fat.
