I can't get by without a date, either.

Keep in mind that my Deep Blue was an early iteration of the model so the line may have been upgraded in the lume department in recent releases.

I can't even see the date complications on most watches anymore...

www.nfwonline.com is offering Socnet 20% off, code is NFW20. I've owned an NFW, and have to say they're hugely under-rated, and you should support them because:

1) They support veterans, with $50 PER WATCH going to www.honorflight.com from their Valor Series, as well as various other veteran orgs, and they have multiple other watches with a specialized purpose and theme (Chris Kyle, Green Beret, Lone Survivor, etc).

https://nfwonline.com/collections/valor

2) They're superbly made watches and a great value. I've owned a Shumate, and it punches WAY above its weight: sapphire front AND rear, lumed ceramic bezel, excellent auto movement, crazy allen-screwed bracelet that could hold a man's weight or tow a friggin truck, and they come with a. full. kit. The Shumates come with bracelet, NICE leather strap, two SETS of strap tools, nice case, etc. They're sold out, but should be back soon, and there are plenty other watches on his site, including women's.

https://nfwonline.com/collections/shumate

3) NFW (Nice Fucking Watch, if you're wondering) is owned by George Fox. Like myself with my coffee business, if you message NFW on FB, George is responding. If you have a problem, George will fix it. George is a good guy. Be like George.

I just received and email from GOV X, and they have the Garmin Tactix Charlie on sale for $486.99 (about 35% off). I know it's the previous edition (Delta is the latest), but that's a hell of a price.

GOV X - Garmin Tactix Charlie

You'll need a login to see the actual price and order.

Jesus, you're evil, throwing that in the faces of a bunch of bored, homebound people. Lol, nice watches.

My wife bought me a super unusual watch for valentines day, a zrc grand fonds na. I'll post pics later.

So that's the zrc grand fonds. The brand has been around for 100 years, Cousteau's team wore them. They has a period of a few decades making cases for other watch brands, but restarted production on these a couple years ago. The one I have, the North Adventure, was put on Kickstarter at a very low price, to fund a super cool arctic expedition. It has beefier specs than the 300 model, which is already a legit tool watch, and only 320 were made.

These have a number of patents that make it extra awesome, such as the ecs system, which allows salt and sand to be flushed out of the bezel, and the spring links in the bracelet, which make it the most comfortable bracelet I've ever tried. It uses non-magnetic steel, has crazy lume, and lots more. I love it.

I was mildly obsessed with it for a while, so when my wife got some money from the death of her father, she bought it for me. Pretty nice.

Thanks! An explorer polar 2 has been my grail for a long time, but I'm not spending that money on that watch, even if I have it. This zrc is just so cool, unlike anything else.

That large link is the spring loaded one, no need to ratchet like some adjustable bracelets, it does it on its own. So good.
